About Me

Hi, my name is Imani and I come from Toronto, ON. I've lived here all my life and I have two parents and two brothers. Fashion has inspired me since I was 10 years old, which would be 3 years ago. I became interested in fashion by watching many fashion and modeling shows. One show that has inspired me the most is Canada's/America's top model. Throughout the years of my childhood I have seen fascinating designs of clothing. This motivated me into thinking "I wish I could create clothes like that!" I know I am probably too young to own my own fashion line or maybe have a long way to go. So, instead I would draw them in my sketch book. My parents notice me drawing these, so they too encouraged me as well. Before I started drawing my creative designs, my mother had bought me my own sketch book. This has made me think about designing. During 3 years of my life that is what I have been doing during my free time. I hope one day my designs will be sold to popular stores, that again will be sold to famous people. If I could see my designs on a human being that would be my dream.
